Angela Engerer, MA

Hello! My name is Angela. I treat a variety of issues, but my specialties include working with individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and interpersonal relationship issues. I work with adults and adolescents and have experience in individual and group therapy settings.

Things haven’t been easy lately. Sometimes participating in life can cause you to become emotionally and physically exhausted. Maybe you feel stuck, alone, or in a different place than you expected. Things don’t always go as planned, but you should know that being present in your life doesn’t have to feel that way.

You have to start somewhere, so let’s start where you are. Focusing on your strengths, your goals, and your challenges, we’ll work together to form an attainable vision for your life. Don’t worry, we’ll remember to walk before we run and break that vision down into manageable goals. Concentrating on the things we can change and moving towards accepting the things that we can’t will keep us focused. Since there isn’t a solution to everything, our time will also be a safe space to just process what’s going on. How we do things and what we accomplish is entirely up to you. That also means that how much you put in is how much you’ll get out, so it’s important that we take the time to improve and maintain your motivation.

Remember one thing: this is your life. You are in charge of writing your own narrative and, when needed, changing the plot. Let me help you live the story you want to tell.
