Bailey Marcotte, MA, LPC
Hello! My name is Bailey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in working with anxiety, self-esteem challenges, OCD, life transitions, and social emotional learning.
I am passionate about embracing a person-centered approach that prioritizes the experience of my clients feeling genuinely acknowledged and understood. Cultivating a robust therapeutic relationship is paramount to me, as I aim to foster an environment where individuals feel at ease and empowered.
I also draw upon evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strengths Based approaches, and creative based approaches. Integrating these techniques allows for a comprehensive and tailored approach, addressing both immediate concerns and fostering enduring positive change. I believe that a combination of interventions provides a holistic and effective framework for my clients' growth and well-being.
I have previous experience as an elementary teacher and working with children and their families. When teaching, one of the subjects I taught was a social emotional learning curriculum daily and found the importance of teaching social skills, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills.
I am looking forward to connecting and collaborating with you!
