Jay Stadtfeld, Intern
Hello and welcome! My name is Jay. I have a passion for working with both children and adults, and I specialize in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, family challenges, and the emotional journey of fertility treatments and IVF. I believe in meeting each client where they are and helping them feel grounded and empowered through life’s transitions.
My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to express yourself freely and explore whatever is on your mind—without fear of judgment.
Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have a strong interest in mindfulness-based approaches, particularly the use of meditation as a grounding practice. I believe that cultivating self-awareness is a powerful tool for navigating life’s challenges with more ease and clarity.
One of my favorite quotes is by Bruce Lee: “Be water, my friend.” I try to embody that same sense of flexibility and calm in the therapy space, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
