Stephanie Garcia, MA, LPC
Hi, I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) here to support you through life’s challenges.
I work with individuals of all ages and specialize in autism, depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, and family or relationship issues. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Philosophy, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a first-generation college graduate and bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I bring cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and a deep commitment to making therapy inclusive and welcoming.
My approach is person-centered and mindfulness-based, and I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to create a holistic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. Whether you're processing emotional struggles, working on self-growth, or navigating a major life transition, I aim to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered and supported.
I also believe in practicing what I preach and self-care is important for everyone, including therapists. Some of the ways I care for myself include taking walks with my dog, spending time in nature, traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, creating content and video journaling (vlogging), and making sure I get enough restful sleep.
Mental health is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay to pause, to breathe, and to ask for help. You’re stronger than you think, and I’m honored to walk this path alongside you.
"Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
