Megan Larabee, Intern
Hello! My name is Megan! I specialize in working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive behaviors and more. With a focus on child/adolescents and adults. As I pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys.
I utilize person-centered theory and psychodynamic theory in my therapeutic approach, creating a safe, empathetic space where you feel heard and valued. By focusing on the whole person and exploring underlying issues, I aim to empower you to achieve self-awareness, personal growth, resilience, and to help you uncover your strengths.
I am dedicated to offering compassionate, evidence-based care and helping you navigate your mental health challenges, whether they involve depression, anxiety, or other concerns. I believe in fostering a collaborative relationship, setting clear expectations, and working together to achieve your personal growth and well-being.
As Carl Rogers elegantly said, "In my interactions with people, I have found that when I am fully present and genuinely accepting, they are more able to find their own way."
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey toward healing and positive change.
