Hello! My name is Meghann. I primarily work with adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, mood disorders, and personality disorders. A quote that is meaningful for me is by C.S. Lewis, “You can’t go back and change the beginning. But you can start where you are and change the ending.” Therapy can focus on changing old habits and creating new beginnings. Therapy is a process of healing; I’d be honored to help you on your journey.
Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming at times. I understand the difficulties of navigating dysfunctional relationships and trauma. Together we will work through your areas of concern, collaborate on goals, and identify your strengths. My goals are to provide a safe environment where we can develop trust; you can process your feelings, increase your self-awareness, and learn coping skills. I will do my best to make sure you’re comfortable and that therapy goes at a pace that you choose.
We will identify ways to manage stress, self-care, and increase positive self-talk. Therapy looks different for everyone and together we will determine a process that is uniquely designed for you. I use a variety of methods tailored to each person. This can include talk-therapy, DBT techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I want to make sure that you feel heard and understood. We will work on helping you become the best version of yourself.
