Kayla Ramos, Intern

Hi, my name is Kayla! I specialize in working with parents, particularly those navigating the transition into motherhood, parental burnout, women’s issues, and individuals experiencing OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and postpartum challenges.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Adventist University. My passion is creating a safe, supportive environment for individuals on their journey toward growth and wholeness. I have a deep commitment to empowering parents as they navigate the complex and rewarding journey of raising children. My goal is to help parents prioritize their well-being while embracing the demands of caregiving and to provide a space that recognizes and honors the multifaceted experiences of motherhood and parenthood.

As Adam Grant wisely said, "Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your child. Self-care is making sure that helping others doesn't hurt you." I am here to help you create the time and space you deserve to focus on yourself.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered and multicultural theories, ensuring a secure and inclusive environment where your unique experiences are valued. I also draw from reality and choice theory to help individuals make conscious, empowering choices that meet their needs and foster positive, meaningful change.

I am so happy that you are here, and I look forward to holding this space with you!
